We are moving out of our little cottage in a few days & relocating overseas ... It's exciting but sad to leave behind a place with so many happy memories. I took a few snaps around the house & hope they will help us to remember the little quirks that we loved so much. x

Heaven is a place on earth
We celebrated ANZAC day here a couple of weeks ago. It was such a beautiful sunny morning that Scott & I decided to pack an easy picnic and head up to Palm Beach - an area where we both spent a lot of time as youngins. Of course we can't go anywhere before enjoying our morning coffee, so we made a pit stop at the Boat House Cafe, one of our favourite fresh market style cafes on Sydney's Northern Beaches. They have the most fantastic heavy picnic tables on the deck, as well as some real beauties inside. After a quick coffee hit, we headed around the side of the cafe to pick up our little whatsiminamed dinghy boat and sailed across to a quiet and secluded beach. It was blowing an absolute gale on the way over and for a while I thought the dinghy might just not make it, but by the time we reached the other side, it was sheltered, calm and idyllic. We found the perfect spot and set up camp for a few hours, enjoying the quiet, the wildlife and the views. Heaven. We had a little trouble parking the boat, which kept wanting to swim away from us, but at least it managed to keep us entertained for a little while. These beautiful pockets of Sydney are so inspiring - the raw beauty and relaxed lifestyle really do help to shape the way I think and feel. x

Giving thanks
Spent the morning making thank you cards for all the beautiful and generous gifts we received at our wedding. Gosh we are lucky to have such amazing friends and family, who helped us make many special memories, which will last a lifetime x
Paris for a week
We all love Paris, I get that. But on our latest visit, I realised more than ever that there really is something truly remarkable about the City of Lights. It holds unique character in the most unassuming places. I find the most beautiful times are when you see bold colours against the neutral Parisian buildings & skies. Here are just some of the reasons I find Paris so inspiring.
